Project CACA – School Child Protection Policy – SCPP Template

01 – The School Child Protection Policy (Core Body)

It comprises two chapters outlining safety domains, jurisdiction, prevention, prohibition, redressal approaches, and committee formations, among other foundational elements.

02 – Corrective Measures

Provides guidelines, definitions, considerations, and examples to assist School Child Protection Committees in addressing various situations. These measures—punitive, supportive, or both—apply to children, students, adults, school staff, parents, and vendors within the School Child Protection Policy (SCPP) environment.

03 – Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Provides a comprehensive framework for classifying and registering complaints and suggestions.

04 – Guidelines & Protocols for School Authorities

Defines the roles, responsibilities, and duties of school authorities across multiple domains, including infrastructure, health and hygiene, and cyber safety.

05 – Guidelines & Protocols for Stakeholders

Outlines roles, responsibilities, duties, and dos and don’ts for stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers, non-teaching staff, visitors, and vendors.

06 – General Code of Conduct for School Staff

07 – Safety Checklist for Schools

It covers multiple dimensions of child safety with key indicators under various essential categories.

08 – Pledge by School Staff

Affirms commitment to the highest standards of safety, care, and respect for every child entrusted to them.

09 – Self-Declaration by School Staff

Declares absence of any criminal record, including offences related to child abuse.
