Neha Tyagi
Legal Consultant

Neha has earned her bachelor’s in English literature (honours) from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, a postgraduate diploma in journalism from Times Of India, and an LLB from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. Currently practising before the Honourable Supreme Court and the High Court of Punjab and Haryana. Her core areas include, but are not limited to, constitutional law, women’s and children’s rights, education, consumer rights, negotiable instruments, and criminal matters.  With a keen interest in women and child rights issues, being a journalist with The Times of India and contributing to law journals, she has written numerous articles highlighting socio-legal issues like women empowerment, against honour killing, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and dowry prohibition.


Ravi Kumar Nigam
Panel Advocate

Ravi is a legal professional dedicated to protecting India’s most vulnerable citizens, especially children. He earned a B.Com (2008) from the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi, specialising in Business and Company Law, and an LL.B (2013) from the Campus Law Centre. While practising in Delhi’s courts, he volunteered with NGOs across the NCR, deepening his commitment to child rights. An LL.M. from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, subsequently refined his expertise in welfare and justice for marginalised groups. Ravi’s early practice combined courtroom advocacy with consultancy for HAQ: Centre for Child Rights, where he provided legal guidance on cases of abuse and exploitation. Today, as the lead counsel for Project CACA in Delhi, he directs a network of pro-bono lawyers, psychologists, and partner organisations that offer litigation and psycho-social support to children from economically weaker sections who have experienced sexual harm. His integrated, victim-centred approach ensures that each child pursues justice in an environment tailored to their needs.


Vidushi Jain
Project Manager

Vidushi Jain is a highly motivated development professional who views the sector as a powerful means of social inclusion. Equipped with sharp creative writing and communication skills, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication and a Master’s in Criminology (specialising in Human Rights) from the National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Sciences. Her portfolio spans NGOs such as SAATH and Gunjan, as well as corporates including MSL Agency and Decathlon Sports, and the public sector, notably the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR). She spent eight months on a UNICEF-funded project advancing child education, where she refined her ability to engage beneficiaries from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds. Vidushi excels at aligning project goals with the needs of underprivileged and marginalised communities, crafting innovative, people-centred solutions that drive sustainable change. She thrives in collaborative environments and consistently brings disciplined project management to every assignment she undertakes.


Vinita Kumari
Legal Officer

Vinita Kumari is an advocate devoted to safeguarding child rights. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Law from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, and a Master’s in Criminology—with a specialisation in Forensic Psychology—from the National Forensic Sciences University, Delhi Campus. Internships with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR), and Project CACA refined her expertise in legal drafting, policy analysis, and advocacy against child abuse. Vinita has presented research papers at the All India Criminology Conference and the World Society of Victimology Symposium, underscoring her commitment to systemic reform. Drawing on her interdisciplinary training, she designs evidence-informed, rights-based strategies that integrate legal safeguards with psychological support. Vinita now aims to strengthen protective mechanisms, ensure every child’s voice is heard within the justice system, and foster environments where young people can thrive free from exploitation.


Janhavi Singh
Sr. Advocacy Ambassador

Janhavi Singh is a law graduate whose early career has been forged in Fast-Track Special Courts, including exclusive POCSO benches in Ghaziabad, where she has represented survivors and defendants in time-sensitive, high-stakes proceedings. She later expanded her litigation practice across Delhi’s courts, honing her expertise in criminal, civil, and procedural matters, and developing an agile command of courtroom strategy, drafting, and client advocacy. Beyond the Bar, Janhavi is an avid motorbike rider and inveterate traveller—pursuits that mirror her appetite for challenge and discovery. Known for her tenacity and meticulous preparation, she approaches every brief with the conviction that effective legal action can dismantle systemic vulnerabilities and promote safer, fairer communities. Whether navigating complex statutes or unfamiliar roads, Janhavi combines confidence with diligence, always striving to exceed expectations and advance justice wherever it is most urgently needed.


Farheen Fatima
Sr. Advocacy Ambassador

Farheen Fatima holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Forensic Science, and Zoology from Dr. Harsingh Gour University and completed her Master’s in Forensic Science from the National Forensic Sciences University, Delhi Campus. Her internships at the State Forensic Science Laboratory and the Police Control Room provided her with valuable practical experience in forensic and investigative skills. Beyond her academic and professional training, she has actively engaged in community service through a start-up NGO focusing on child education during her undergraduate years. This experience enhanced her understanding of how forensic science and criminology can address societal issues and reinforce justice. She has also participated in numerous national and international conferences, including the 42nd All India Criminology Conference on “Criminology for Global Wellness.” Additionally, she has qualified the FACT 2024 Examination in forensic ballistics and physical sciences. She is passionate about using her skills and knowledge to drive positive change in society.


Aastha Dhall
Sr. Advocacy Ambassador

Aastha Dhall is a highly skilled forensic science professional with a Master’s degree in Forensic Science from LNJN NICFS, National Forensic Science University, Delhi Campus, and a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science from Lovely Professional University, Punjab. Her dedication to the field is underscored by her completion of several advanced certifications, including Cyber Forensics, Cyber Security, Graphology, and Fraud Risk Analysis. She has garnered practical experience through internships with esteemed organisations such as BFI, SFSL, and AIIMS, New Delhi. Her academic contributions include co-authoring a book chapter and presenting research at an international conference. She has also achieved UGC-NET qualification, reflecting her deep expertise and commitment to forensic science. Passionate about child safety and rights, she has actively worked with a Batala-based NGO to promote cyber safety and social media awareness among students, aiming to bolster their skills and knowledge in these critical areas.


Devlina Dey
Advocacy Ambassador

Devlina Dey received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Savitribai Phule Pune University’s SSR College. She graduated from Rashtriya Raksha University in Gandhinagar with a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology. The Directorate of Forensic Science in Gandhinagar, the Psychiatry Department of the Shri Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital in Silvassa, the Coastal Police Station in Moti Daman, and the Dehgam Police Station in Gandhinagar are among the places where she has completed internships. Additionally, she had the opportunity to intern at Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad and HMH (Hospital for Mental Health) in Ahmedabad. She has been always curious about what motivates people to commit crimes of any kind and what goes through their minds right before they do so. She has also previously tutored at a number of coaching facilities and run summer camps for courses in personality development and spoken English.


Diya Anthikat
Advocacy Ambassador

Diya Anthikat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore, and a Master’s degree in Social Work (Criminology and Justice) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She has interned with organizations such as Vikalp Sansthan in Udaipur, Canossa Jeevan Vikas Kendra, and Sahaara Charitable Society in Maharashtra, gaining hands-on experience working with children, women, and individuals from marginalized communities, including those in red- light areas. Diya presented a paper on human trafficking during the Russia-Ukraine war at the Eighth International and Twelfth Biennial Conference of the Indian Society of Victimology. Her undergraduate research explored bullying in educational and workplace settings, with a focus on young adults. Through her academic journey and field experiences, she has developed a strong commitment to social justice. She is passionate about using her knowledge and skills to create a meaningful impact and contribute to making a difference.


Parul Shrivastava
Advocacy Ambassador

Parul Shrivastava is deeply committed to child rights, preventive education, and community outreach. Given my background in Forensics, Criminology , Social Work and Crime Science. I have gained extensive knowledge about the importance of early intervention and awareness when it comes to creating environments that are safe and inclusive for children. I am in perfect alignment with Project CACA’s primary objective of empowering students, educators, and parents with safety education that is curriculum-based and structured. In this role, I can bridge conversations between schools and communities, advocate for evidence-based child protection measures, and build a culture of empathy, responsibility, and alertness. As such, I see myself as a proactive contributor to the organization’s vision in aiding in expanding its influence, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that every child has the access and support that connects their ability to survive happily, safely, and with dignity. This is meant to create a positive change in how we think about child abuse prevention together with this role.


Khushboo Sharma
Advocacy Ambassador

Khushboo Sharma is an accomplished Investigation Specialist and Criminology expert with a Master’s in Criminology (Forensic Psychology) from the National Forensic Sciences University and a Life Sciences degree from the University of Delhi. Her expertise spans forensic psychology, criminal profiling, cybercrime analysis, and victimology, with experience from DRDO and the Forensic Science Laboratory (Delhi). Khushboo has contributed to impactful research on terrorism, the victimisation of marginalised groups, and Gen Z behavioural profiling. She has presented at national and international criminology conferences and is UGC NET (Criminology) qualified. Known for her data-driven approach, she excels in behavioural analysis, investigations, and legal documentation. Her collaborative mindset, analytical skills, and commitment to systemic reform make her a valuable asset to the field of criminology and forensic research.


Dr Surbhi – Advocate
Resource Person

Dr Surbhi has an extensive experience in the field of education. She did her PhD from Delhi University. After completing her LLM from the Law School, she authored a book on legal language, legal vocabulary & legal drafting published by an international & renowned publisher, Lexis Nexis. Besides, to her credit, she has other publications in the form of three literary books and several legal articles in reputed magazines. Currently, she is writing a book on Child Protection laws at the request of the Ministry of Law and Justice. She has worked in a child rights NGOs training department for the last six years. She has twelve years of teaching experience in law schools. She is always excited about the opportunity to be part of a training team that increases awareness of child-related issues. She regularly takes sessions on Child Protection laws in CBI, Police Academy, schools and child protection functionaries.


Priyanka Singh
Resource Person

Priyanka Singh acquired her LLB degree from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and her Master’s in Law (Constitutional Law) from National Law University, Odisha. She is practising at the Hon’ble Allahabad High Court, Lucknow Bench, and subordinate courts, having also taken up matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. Her significant practice areas include constitutional law, human rights, arbitration, matrimonial law, criminal law, and civil land dispute cases. As a human rights enthusiast, she has associated with NGOs to create awareness about women and child rights and has taken up pro bono cases related to illegal detention, police atrocities, and domestic abuse. She also conducts sessions in various institutions, schools, and colleges on gender sensitisation, the POSH Act, and labour laws.
